RTR Aerocrafters is an R/C model building company that specializes in giant scale aerobatic aircraft. The RTR part of their name stands for the first initials of the trio of: Ron Wlosinski, Tom Wheeler, & Ralph Anzivino. Their very nicely equipped workshop is located at Ron’s house.

They not only build KAM Aero Extra 300KK kit aircraft, but both Ron & Tom have also built a pair of the 300KK’s for their own IMAC competition aircraft after building a pair for customers when the KAM Aero Extra 300KK’s first became available, and during those initial builds seeing up close and first hand for themselves the structure, build style, & parts quality of the aircraft.

You may have seen their extremely popular KAM Aero Extra 300KK build thread at the FlyingGiants forum. The link to that thread is located at – https://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220300&highlight=kam+aero

Remember, RTR Aerocrafters not only builds KAM Aero Extra 300KK kit aircraft, but the 300KK’s are also their personal choice for their own competition aircraft. That is truly awesome testimony to what they think of the 300KK! Having built four of the 300KK kits already, they are very knowledgeable on all aspects of building, completing, equipping, & flying the 300KK. They have built the 300KK’s with both twin-cylinder & quad-cylinder engines.

RTR Aerocrafters is available for building the KAM Aero Extra 300KK kits. Choosing them to build a kit will also save you the cost of shipping as they are located down the road from Cam’s workshop. Cam would be happy to give you the contact info for RTR Aerocrafters when you call him about a kit.

Below are photos of the four 300KK’s that they have built to date.

Here is the first pair of KAM Aero Extra 300KK kits that RTR Aerocrafters built simultaneously during the winter of 2017/2018 –

Jerry Unruh of California sent this photo to us. This handsome aircraft was built for Jerry by RTR in Michigan.

Here are some pix of Jonathan Sabini’s new KAM Aero 300KK he flew at the 2018 World Contest, where Jonathan competed in Intermediate class finishing in 3rd place at 12 years old! This beautiful 300KK features the colorful paint scheme of the Italian aerobatic display team: the Frecce Tricolori. Young Jonathan is one of IMAC’s crop of young up & comers. This great looking Extra 300KK was built for Jonathan by RTR Builders in Michigan.

“We have built four Kam Aero’s, two for customers and these two for us and I will tell you that these are great kits to build, the quality, fit and design is simply the best available. Our first flights were perfect, we can’t wait to get more in. Tom Wheeler”

Tom & Ron’s 300KK’s shown in flight doing what they do best – This pair of beautiful paint schemes that RTR applied, looks awesome both on the ground, and in the air. Just ask the bird caught gawking at Tom’s in the next to last photo above!

Here’s what Tom had to say about their great looking new pair of KAM Aero Extra 300KK’s –

“Here are our aircraft, Ron’s is the blue one and is powered by a DA 170 with MTW canisters. Mine is the red one and is powered by a DA 200 also with MTW canisters. This build along with last year’s two Kam Aero’s we built for John Sabini and Jerry Unruh are documented on Flying Giants.”
